This year after a long journey we made it to our family’s Christmas celebrations.  We are using this as an opportunity to do a family reunion for a few days, so we get to see almost everyone in my extended family, which is really special.

Being around family at this time of year really reminds you of how fortunate it is to have family to be with during the holidays, and especially how fortunate it is to have family who likes to be around each other.  It’s easy to take it for granted, and good to remember how lucky it is whenever you can.
